The Mercedes-Benz Arrow is a recreational concept vehicle designed for the year 2050. The Arrow Concept is aimed at provising its two passengers – seated one behind the other like in other leisure vehicles such as motorcycles and jet skis – an exciting experience of driving fun and adrenaline. The absence of roof is aimed at increasing the feeling of freedom. Its design was inspired by iconic Mercedes-Benz cars such as the Silver Arrows, Mclaren SLR and and the legendary 1954 300 SL “Gullwing”. The engine is electric and is located at the bottom of the vehicle. It features a system of opposite magnets (MAGLEV) that enables the movement of the body when cornering. It is targeted to people aged between 20 and 35 years, with higher incomes, who enjoy travel, fine cuisine, extreme sports and exotic products. The tires of the Arrow Concept are fused together with the wheel. When the tires wear to a certain extent, the rubber can be re injected, so that there is no dumping of waste in nature.
